Resuming Spyro and Gex (Patreon)

Sadly, it's not a whole lot further than the last WIP of it Patreon, the reasons which I mentioned in the last news update here. A quick summary, if you're only concerned with how it relates to this piece:

• Almost done with Spyro and Gex• My tablet dies suddenly, doesn't turn on• Send it in for repairs• Inconclusive, they have to send it to a specialist• I buy a new tablet in the meantime• Hold another poll for a quicker piece to do while I wait, resulting in Butch and Tom• Weeks pass• Word finally comes in. Tablet short circuited, board is fried, all data gone• All I have of Spyro and Gex is a single-layer snapshot halfway through its production, which is what I'm currently working off of

Which brings us to now! Now that I know the exact status of all the WIPs from the old tablet, I know how to move forward with them, which I've been doing piece by piece recently. For this one, even though I've been forced to restart from the halfway point with the disadvantage of not having any layers, I've recovered enough of it that I'm already back on track and full steam ahead! So this will be the next full-colored personal piece I'll do-- with appropriate backing-up of data in the meantime. ^^.

Expect the background to look a little different when it's finished. Spyro looks dark because I'm using a relatively new method for me where I erase shadows to apply light instead of adding shadows to already-light areas.
