A day I think of you! (Patreon)

I've already sent out a few Thanksgiving messages about how happy I am for my followers. The core message of each was that I don't have a very large following anywhere on the internet I go. Honestly, I don't know how some furry artists even do it! But whenever I look at an artist who has quintuple-digit followers or more and then look at my four-thousand here, one thousand there, couple hundred this, double-digit that, my first thought actually isn't "Man, I wish more people would pay attention to my art."
It's "Wow, this handful of people really care about what I make! These people were looking somewhere else than the one-stop to find art they like and they found me. Maybe they wanted something different. Maybe amidst the THOUSANDS of other artists' and all their works, these few-dozen people found something made by me and it just stood out to them enough to search for the weirdo who was crazy enough make it." You know what it sounds like? It sounds like me when I first started drawing, when I was finding this collective of people who made the kind of art that spoke to me on a level that made me feel truly understood. I was too shy to seek out those people whose art stood out to me so much, so I picked up the pencil and started making my own. And since then, the goodness that has resulted from it has so overshadowed the bad that I had to remind myself that there were bad times to begin with. The entire course of my life has changed because of my art for the GREAT, and it's because of the people who enjoy it, the people who tell others about it, and the people who contribute to making sure it doesn't go unappreciated in whatever way they can. It's because of you.
God, I can't thank you guys enough. It'll probably take the rest of my life drawing and providing you with more of what made you find me in the first place in order to show you just how grateful I am. Not a bad deal, if I do say so myself. =)
