Why I wrote the song in Swedish. (Patreon)

I've only ever written two Swedish songs! The first one is called "Kalla Händer" meaning cold hands, and I think I wrote it... 2013! Wow I'm getting old.  

But the second one, called "Som Förut" (Like before), was made very recently. The reason I decided to write it in Swedish is very simply: I was going through a break-up and the guy I dated was English haha! Soooo.. I mean, what better way to deal with it all than to write a song in a language he can't understand? Ah haha, I feel bad now for saying that out loud.

But honestly, it was nice to feel like I could write about us and knowing he wouldn't know what it was about. Songwriting is definitely therapeutic for me. Let's just cross our fingers he won't contact someone who knows Swedish and ask them to translate it for him haha!

The plan is to upload this song on Wednesday to youtube, but we haven't started recording the video for it yet and I'm feeling like doing something special for the video, and might therefore need to order some stuff to do so. We'll see! 

When I upload the downloads for the song here I'll add the lyrics translated in English too in case my English patrons here is interested to know what it's about.
