New Music - New Name (Patreon)

The songs I had before on Spotify is now gone! I'm incredibly excited about this because it means I can now start over and the thing is I will add something new to this!

So here's the thing. I have for the longest time wanted to have another artist name, something that sounds soft, has a beautiful ring to it and that fits me as a singer and person. 

Youuuuuuuu seeeeeeee whereeee this is goooooooiiiiiiiiiing?????? (Okay let's be honest you might have figured from the title. But I AM EXCITED because this is kind of a big deal for me.)

I've tried a million different names for the longest time, but nothing felt right. Not until yesterday when I told Cipher how I wanted to have Joy followed by another name. I then said how I really love this other specific name. I read them out loud together and we just looked at each other like. "That's it!"

I decided to check what the name itself actually means and turns out it's light, bright and shining light. So combining this with Joy means it'll be "happiness and light" or "Light of happiness".

I was like yesssss.

The name I'll be taking on as my own is Joy Aileen, it'll be what you find me as on Spotify but possibly even on youtube and on other platforms like instagram and twitter. Wherever it takes us. The name feels like me and it has just that softness and rhythm I was looking for. (the initials JA means YES in Swedish, so if that's not enough to convince me I don't know what is hahah)

This of course also means that I'm really going after my music dream as well this year. You'll see more music content uploaded to spotify, youtube, itunes, amazon and more!
