Apparently I sang these beautiful melodies in my sleep when I stayed over at my mum's. I didn't know I could do that. But it makes me smile thinking of because as you know I've fallen twice into dropping music. Not even singing in the shower. So the fact that I'm now even singing in my sleep warms my heart haha.

What I've come to realise in this journey, that I want to share, is truly the affect of "många bäckar små gör en stor å". It's my favourite Swedish saying and it means "several little creeks adds up to a big river", roughly translated.

Getting back on track with life, feeling happy, getting well, reaching success isn't one single act and you'll magically be there. I believe we often fall into thinking if we only had this (insert personal preference) certain thing we'd be where we wish we were. And when we don't have it we end up feeling defeated, unmotivated or just downright depressed.

But getting where you want is the result of a collection of many small acts, consistently, over time. Some of you know I'm working hard on overcoming my emetophobia and cibophobia and the colour of my effort is now beautifully bleeding into the rest of my life. My general anxiety is much, much lower, I experience confidence, happiness and I've started enjoying some of my old forgotten hobbies again. By doing hard work with several little creeks over time (exposure, working on my mindset, research, affirmation, stress-management, meditation, yoga), I now see more little creeks just naturally filling my river. (My most important creek, except just getting started, has actually been the affirmation: "I'll handle it.")

Same goes for when you add lots of bad habits and actions in your life that you don't actually want. Before you know it you have a big river of mud. (If this has happened to you, backtrack and discern what habits these are and take away one muddy creek at a time.)

I truly believe we can achieve just about anything (I'm afraid to tell you that you can't ever physically become a unicorn, but I'm sure you can come damn close if you really worked for it) we want if we're willing to put in hard work, be patient, sacrifice other things and dare to believe. What are you willing to sacrifice for your dream? I was willing to sacrifice the false sense of comfort from avoidance, willing to sacrifice time from my day and willing to sacrifice feeling safe. Because it is the road needed to something greater.

Now go out there and take your first step. Seek out that fresh creek and lead it to where you want your river.
