The Next Chapter (Patreon)

Hi everyone. I've been thinking about the best way to grow my work here and protect what I make, and I wanted to give you a heads up about some changes that are rolling out over the rest of 2026.

I'm in the process of building my own website, and by the end of the year that's going to be home base for all my audio clips. Patreon will still be where you subscribe to my content and where the payments happen (that's not changing), but the actual listening will move over to my site. If you subscribe to some of the most popular hypno creators on Patreon, you'll know that they do this as well.

Here's why I'm doing this:

First, the intellectual property stuff. There are a couple of sites that scrape paywalled Patreon content and just post it for free. I've watched this happen with other creators too, and I refuse to allow this to continue to happen to me. My work takes real time and energy to make. So a stronger paywall, one where you log in with your Patreon credentials on my site, actually works to stop that. Patreon's security just isn't tight enough to keep the scrapers out, so this is me protecting myself.

Second, the user experience is going to be a lot better. Patreon's layout is kind of a mess for organizing an expanding catalog of audio clips like mine. My site will have much better tagging, search, filtering, playlists, etc - basically all the things that make it easy to actually find what you want to listen to instead of scrolling through walls of posts. It'll feel less chaotic and way more like you're actually browsing a library of content.

I'm building this right now behind the scenes, populating my site with everything, and when it's ready to go live, I'll swap out all the Patreon posts with links to the site. So, again, your support will still happen here, you'll stay here to get alerts for new posts, it's just your listening will happen there on my site.
