No lol I listened to it. I think, for the most part, your questions will be answered by continuing to watch. I would recommend also watching the prequels. That trilogy's not as good overall, but so-called "Episode 3" is good. "Solo" is ok, but the most recent trilogy isn't great. Some of the animated show stuff is good, too, but we don't need to get into that right now lol it's nice to hear what a newbie thinks

Lacey, I really LOVED this ramble that I had to listen to it twice. I had to stop numerous time so I could write down the questions because I wanted to make sure that I wrote down all 20 questions. So here is my responses to your questions. So here we go. 1. I've been a Star Wars: Episode IV "A New Hope fanboy since its release in 1977. I was like seven years old. Back then we judged your level of fandom by how many times you saw Star Wars. I saw Star War ten times in a movie theater or drive-in. Every guy who loves Star Wars is afraid to watch Star Wars with his girlfriend because if she hates it, those negative feels are viewed as a critizism of his character (the nerdy part). I am happy to say that wife loves Star Wars and she says one of the reasons why she loves me is that she loves my imagination and love of stories and and storytelling. I owe that to Star Wars. Guess that's why I do what I do now. 2. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE MOVIE! 3. When Han Solo drives away Darth Vader and allows Luke to use the Force to fire off the photon torpedo that destroys the Death Star. 4. My least favorite part when Han Solo shot first, killing the bounty hunter Greedo. It shattered the idea that Han Solo was really a heroic character. Although my wife really loves Han Solo! Han Solo is her favorite character. Her response to Han Solo kind of upset me because it was a clear demonstration that women prefer the bad boy! And I am not a bad boy 5. My favorite character now is Darth Vader. 2nd Favorite is Luke Skywalker, when I was a kid he was my favorite. 3rd Favorite is Princess Leia Organa 6. My least favorite character...this is a hard one! At first when I was a kid my least favorite character was Darth Vader, because at the time he was the most terrific villain I ever saw. But that changed over the years, actually it evolved. Now my least favorite character is C3-PO because he just isn't nice, especially in a crisis but even when things are good, he can be self absorbed. 7. The most annoy character was C3-PO. Comments in question 6 has the reasons why. 8. My opinion of Luke Skywalker is that I love his hero's journey! He is just really starting his life path, he is brash, impulsive, and quick to anger (like his father) and buy the end he is maturing and growing. I really related and connected to Luke Skywalker and couldn't wait to see what happened in his hero's journey next. The Empire Strikes Back is my favorite Star Wars 9. My opinion about Darth Vader. This is so complicated! At the time of the movie, Darth Vader was the biggest (David Prowse was the actor in the suit, he passed away in Nov 2020) and scariest (James Earl Jones was the Voice of Vader). He scared me so much! He was the embodiment of evil for me at the time. Vader only has a little over 12 minutes of time in A New Hope (maybe 40 minutes over the entire original trilogy). By the end of the trilogy, you learn that Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker is way more important than the viewer originally thought. Trying not to spoil because I think you should watch, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. 10. "The Force is an energy that surrounds us, fills us and it binds the universe together." Obi Wan Kenobi. I think to George Lucas the Force is a metaphor for religious beliefs: the Dark Side of the Force are negative aspects of religion and the Light Side of the Force are positive aspects of religion. 11. The art and scenes are the most amazingly awesome visuals in a movie every. This was before CGI so every part of the movie had to be create by human hands, so the scenery is truly art. 12. At the time of its release of the film, nothing. Now what I don't like is the light saber fight between Darth Vader and Obi Wan Kenobi. That light saber battle is considered one of the weakest fights. Today many feel that it makes Obi Wan Kenobi look weak and pathetic. 13. At the time everything made sense to me because as a seven year old boy my imagination suspended reality and everything in the movie seemed possible. 14. Where do I see the movie going? This isn't really a question I can answer because I already know what happens next. Please see The Empire Strikes Back and do a ramble on that movie. 15. My opinion of the movie before watching it was wrapped up in the trailer from 1977, it captured my imagination, especially the voice of the narrator. Here is the link to the original trailer: https://youtu.be/1g3_CFmnU7k?si=GvlYYLVlaQvlMnNY It's almost three minutes but it's what captured my seven year old attention and couldn't wait to see it. 16. My opinion after watching the movie as a seven year old was that I couldn't wait to see Episode V. Now my opinion is even as dated as it might seem Star Wars: A New Hope is an epic classic. 17. Everything in the movie is now a meme. My favorites are Use the Force/May the Force be With You, You worry about those fighters and let me worry about the tower." and "These aren't the droids you're looking for." my favorite that I use on people that annoy me or act foolish. Its fun to watch their response. 18. Yes, I watched all the rest of the movies, including all the ones made by Disney. I definitely recommend the rest of the originally trilogy: The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi (in that order). I do recommend: the prequel: Episode I (my least favorite of the prequels), Episode II, and Episode III (Revenge of the Sith: was my favorite). Like you, Lacey, I LOVED Rogue One! Not really a big fan of Solo, I think they messed up his character arch. I am not really a fan of the Episode VII, VIII, and IX, but I really do like the character Rey, I have Funko Pop bobbleheads of Rey and Luke Skywalker all over my room. Rey was the original type of character the Lucas wanted Luke Skywalker to be but the studio said no to a female hero. 19. I don't think there is anything else I would say that I haven't already said, but I will reply to any comments made on my list. 20. I would absolutely use the Force. I would LOVE to use the Force, but I also know that I would use the Dark Side, back when I was kid I would have definitely used the Force in an inappropriate manner. Today, I would mind trick world leaders into making world peace. Would that be considered using the Dark Side? Thanks for the ramble and putting out the questions, I really enjoyed responding to these questions. Please consider doing the same thing: the ramble and 20 questions for the Empire Strikes Back. May the Force be with You

I had to go back and listen to the ramble for a third time after reading your comment. OMG! You were right. Please pick out a Star Wars shirt and put it on your Throne list because you are now officially a Star Wars fan and you need to start your fandom shirt collection. I am so glad that you really enjoyed the movie and please consider The Empire Strikes Back for your next viewing.
