Since nvidia is basically gonna order intels graphics devision to shut down, how long do you think driver's are going to be maintained for existing and the few remaining future arc products? Also, would like to know if you have pcie lane counts for upcoming amd and intel consumer cpus, I care a lot more about pcie than getting an extra thirty frames with x3d, so knowing where they are in advance would be really useful. Thank you :)

Hi Tom and Dustin, how damaged would you gauge Xbox’s brand reputation is after everything we’ve seen them do up to this point in 2025 and how can they recover?

As a PC only player (I refuse to buy a console for 2 games), when (if ever) am I going to be able to play college football and NHL hockey? (Emulating PS3 versions is getting kinda old). Does the Magnus leak lead you to believe PC ports will be faster and actually happen?

Hi Tom and Dustin. I don’t know if you guys agree but there are evidence of PC Game Pass is about to be discontinued in the future. In the video announcing Game Pass changes they did not mention PC Game Pass at all and if you go to the Xbox Game Pass website, they hide PC Game Pass under the “View PC Only Plan” button. All 3 Game Pass tiers already include PC in them. That coupled with the new ROG Xbox Ally being a PC handheld and the future Xbox hardware being basically a PC, having a cheaper PC only option is nothing but a hindrance to them. Thus, I expect Microsoft will dissolve PC Game Pass and convert it into one of the mid-tier options.

For the steam home console what will Valve need to do for it to succeed? Should they go the hybrid route in what Xbox should have done a long time ago and have it be a pc-console or should they go about it like Sony where it’s solely plays games?

Do you think Microsoft will walk back the pricing? It doesn’t have to be directly but maybe indirectly by creating a new tier that replaces the previous ultimate tier? I don’t think the outrage would’ve been bad if pricing stayed the same and they came out and said “future games and extra rewards would only launch on this new $30 tier we are releasing called Gamepass Ultimate X a nod to the ROG ALLY X”.

Hi Tom and Dustin, will Project Amethyst bring more locked down settings to the settings menu or be more open to being able to set more setting for games.

With Magnus, let’s say that Microsoft continues to sell it as a conventional console so that any contracts they’ve signed on the basis of having a console are still valid but also push OEMs to sell Magnus based PCs as an alternative. Do you think that would be an effective strategy? What other strategies would you suggest?

Chris Rijk

AMD and Sony sure are getting cosy lately. Would you be surprised if the “RDNA 5” in the PS6 has some significant special sauce that Magnus does not (and perhaps AMD’s own dGPUs don’t have it either)?

AMD and Sony recently dropped a video detailing their plans for hardware, it seems like their plans to boost performance even though they plan on a affordable generation is to massively increase efficiency in computing among others things like adding dedicated radiance cores for ray/pathtracing leaving the cpu and gpu to do other things. I’m curious what you think of this partnership and how both companies are using the other the better themselves.

Picture an alternate reality where AMD won the switch 2 contract, how different would the gaming landscape be?

With the collapse of Xbox, do you expect more players to come in and try to fill the void? I know steam is cooking in the labs but maybe Sega? Apple has always wanted to dip in and went as far as market resident evil playing on an iPhone. Or is the market what it is going forward.

In your experience with existing hardware and the road map of upcoming hardware. Do you think it's better to achieve machine learning acceleration for gaming hardware via a dedicated NPU, or by buidling logic into GPU shaders directly? Thanks!

Will People again call the death of PC gaming when the new console gen releases? This time PlayStation tries to hit lower prices and Xbox will be more expensive than usual so I think this time we can skip that period or what is your opinion?

Hey Tom and Dustin. With the announcement from AMD and PlayStation How do you think that's going to translate to the handheld. Right now AI performance it's really raw power intensive and especially since Sony is really actually committing to useful AI does this seem like a missing piece of the puzzle when it comes to how PlayStation is going to scale next gen. Also any thoughts on how it seems like AMD actually is working on their own Royal core project lol with combining cores?

Given the way the Magnus is being designed and made, the R&D costs involved here could be relatively modest. Could Microsoft follow-up Magnus with an improved design each new generation (ie Zen 7 and RDNA 6 and so on)? If Microsoft is going to take a more PC-like approach, then regular updates could make a lot of sense.

Hi Dustin and Tom, I’m curious how you are choosing where to buy your games in terms of platform. I’ve been a pretty loyal PlayStation fan for about 25 years now, but I find myself drawn to the Steam Deck and PC given the upper limits of where performance can go, especially when I consider how modern games may play on the Steam Deck 2 and older games will age well performance-wise. PlayStation has the edge in convenience of a simple UI and Tv connection (not to mention CEC), and the compatibility on the upcoming handheld should be superb, but I can’t help but think how console games are locked to their settings with few options. I still prefer to game on the couch or handheld vs at a desk, but the back catalog performance that always improves with your hardware is so enticing. How do you pick where to play, and do you think this will change in the future as we see the next PlayStation handheld and Steam Deck 2? Thanks, Matt Kuryloski

Hi, Tom If you've seen the interview (if not link with timestamp is attached) of an Arch Linux dev following the Valve sponsorship saying that the donation from Valve regarded support for different CPU Architectures like arm64 and riscv64, but mainly arm64 and he explicitly tells that Valve is interested in ARM. Also you leaked info about AMD's Sound Wave which is a ARM based APU. Now Valve is preparing to launch their arm64 hybrid gaming VR Headset. And we can not forget the recent donation (hiring contractors) to work for the FEX-Emu project which is a lightweight program that allows running x86-64 software on ARM64 CPUs including games which is demonstrated by the YouTube channel of the project. So, after connecting the dots my question is: Do you think that Steam Deck 2 could have an AMD manufactured ARM64 based APU, which would provide the necessary leap in performance per hour? Here is the link with the time stamp https://youtu.be/zB62zhzGV1A?si=3AYhvuW9qfyC-6tK&t=441
