The next episode of Broken Silicon will see us be joined by Fabio of the Ancient Gameplays YT Channel once again! Needless to say, he can speak about ANYTHING we usually speak about at MLID, but as you might imagine we will specifically plan to talk about RADEON Support, FSR 4, and how GPU competition is developing.

You have ~36 hours (till Sunday Morning) to submit below!

Hi Fabio and Tom, where do you think we'd be if Microsoft really had gone with Intel for their next Xbox? Would Intel still be pouring more money into a gaping hole? Would Xbox be flailing even harder than it already is, because this Arc thing is clearly going nowhere? Would Arc actually be fine because Microsoft would've provided some sort of secret sauce to prevent the whole thing going up in flames and taking Xbox with it? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hey Tom, you mentioned on the last BS that people are benchmarking Strix Halo 388 and 392 APUs. This is incredibly exciting. When do you think major laptop partners will release these APUs to market? Also, does this mean there won't be a Strix Halo refresh with RDNA 4? Late 2026/early 2027 is a long ways away to still be stuck on RDNA 3.5 when 4 is so much better in many regards. Thanks.

Sorry that this is a little off topic, but I was just thinking about how little AMD's FSR4 is supported still, especially when compared to DLSS. Do you see this as a huge disadvantage for Magnus when compared to PS6? I understand that support should be a lot better in 2 years but it definitely won't be every game, where you would have to assume PSSR support will be mandatory in every game

Hi Fabio and Tom! With AMD getting more of the GPU pie this gen, do you think they will expand their software support to dews? Have more people dedicated to assist with feature integration like NVIDIA does. I hope RADEON can move on from "good enough to sell" standards they have at the moment IMO.

Hi Tom and Fabio! Love both of your content. Quick question: Is the Super refresh launch date affected by rumored ddr7 availability due to higher demand from server/ai customers for similar ddr7. Similar to what we see for ddr5 ram availability.

Hi, Tom If you've seen the interview (if not link with timestamp is attached) of an Arch Linux dev following the Valve sponsorship saying that the donation from Valve regarded support for different CPU Architectures like arm64 and riscv64, but mainly arm64 and he explicitly tells that Valve is interested in ARM. Also you leaked info about AMD's Sound Wave which is a ARM based APU. Now Valve is preparing to launch their arm64 hybrid gaming VR Headset. And we can not forget the recent donation (hiring contractors) to work for the FEX-Emu project which is a lightweight program that allows running x86-64 software on ARM64 CPUs including games which is demonstrated by the YouTube channel of the project. So, after connecting the dots my question is: Do you think that Steam Deck 2 could have an AMD manufactured ARM64 based APU, which would provide the necessary leap in performance per hour? Here is the link with the time stamp: https://youtu.be/zB62zhzGV1A?si=3AYhvuW9qfyC-6tK&t=441

Greetings to both of you, Tom & Fabio. It appears that AMD is pushing for continued FSR 4 adoption as new games continue to be released, thus expanding the total number of supported games. However, with respect to games released before FSR 4 & RDNA 4's release, do you think we will get expanded FSR 4 support from games released in the last 3-5 years? Palworld, as just one example, sold big, and still doesn't have any FSR support, let alone FSR 4. The game has decreased in player count, but it did still sell massively.

Fabio, were you given any insight into Advanced Marketing Disasters decision to go about they way they did with the recent driver debacle? Also congrats on making the big leagues and being able to interview AMD employees!

Greetings Tom and Fabio, are you at all hesitant to recommend Nvidia? I’m having black screening issues with a 4070TI I have in another system when my 9070XT does not.

Do you think the super series will be enough to garner favor for the 50 series, or will it be a fix applied too late?

The best part of 9950x3d "2" and 9850x3d coming out is the price drop of the base 9800x3d. If zen 6 does get delayed do you think the market will be ok with with faster zen 5 for the same price?

What performance will the 9070xtx or 9080xt whatever it will be called need to hit to keep up the momentum against super? What price do you think will be the sweet spot to keep consumers interested?

What is the point of AMD releasing FSR4 officially for RDNA3? We now have the simple, easy DLL swap method for older RDNA gens. Why would AMD waste resources doing all the QA to make sure it works perfectly, when they can leave it in the grey zone and the people still get what they want (FSR4 in all FSR3.1 games)?

For the normies and the PR benefits of an official release. I think this is one of those moments of enthusiasts living so much in a bubble they don't understand what life is like outside that bubble.
