The Crimson Sisters were well known for their elegance, the temple an attraction for both the faithful and thirsty alike. It was the latter who often kept the priestesses in fine silks and finer jewelry through their donations, always with the thinly veiled statement that the donation was an act of faith and nothing more.

But such fineries did little to stop the blade of thieves hungry to feast on the ripe prize that those riches were sure to be, and though the priestesses were trained to defend themselves there were always those well trained--or desperate--enough to ease their own... spiritual troubles... with cold coin through the liberal application of equally cold steel into warm flesh.
