Pest Extermination (Patreon)

Smoke still curled from the holes she'd put in the 3 maids, but the assassin knew she still had some work to do. There was at least one maid left in the room, and then Victoria herself... she had made it this far though, and even as she heard the click of a fresh magazine sliding into the final maid's gun, the assassin also knew she was in the final stretch now.
The carpet hid the footfalls, but there was nowhere for the maid to go. Victoria was stationary, and the room was their last stronghold. At the same time the two would have no idea what was going on in the hallway; were the guards dead? Was the assassin? The lack of noise tended towards the latter, but the uncertainty was far more dangerous for them than it was for the trained killer.
A peek could be deadly, and Ashley knew it.
Her body trembled with adrenaline as she approached the door, every inch of her stockings tickling against the goosebumps she could feel rising on her legs. Her heart pounded, her mouth dried, and other parts seemed to almost pulse with excitement as she stepped over the corpse of the guard her and Kaitlyn--also long dead by now--had accidentally blown away. The subtle scent of Victoria's obvious pleasure over the elimination of her own guards was no small factor either.
The minutes stretched out into a yawning abyss of uncertainty as Ashley stood pressed against the doorframe, the warm wood almost comforting against her almost-bare ass as she slowly peered out... and directly into sights of the crouching assassin's raised pistol.
It was only her skill that kept her from being eliminated where she stood, and it was only the assassin's training that kept her from risking one of the only two bullets she was certain she had left in the magazine; counting bullets was a must in this line of work, but she wasn't as infallible as she wanted her enemies to believe.
But she was as quick as they knew her to be. Bold too.
Ashley's reactionary pull-back proved fatal. Her mind raced with tactics she could employ, but it all disappeared as the assassin sailed past the doorway, employing the same trick that had gotten her past the guards on the second floor. The diving tackle was a suicide maneuver; she wouldn't survive going toe-to-toe with the maid's rifle in such an enclosed space, and if she died, she'd die on her own terms.
Or Ashley would.
The blonde's body arched back as a single bullet pierced through her sternum from the side, exiting from the other side in a shower of blood that seemed even more lurid by the horrified shriek that escaped the girl's throat in a primal, submissive, admission of defeat. Her body jolted, spasming even as it began to slide down the door frame. Her hands clutched helplessly at the wound, then at the assassin... and finally at the air as a second bullet punched through her skull and sent her to whatever awaited her beyond that moment...
The assassin was out of ammo. She was almost certain... but Victoria didn't need to know that...
