Currently stuck on the wrong side of the country from my house due to the Air Canada strike. Was supposed to fly home today, and now after scrambling to get a ticket I won't be home until Wednesday. :(Streeeeeeess.

Crazy how Air Canada would rather lose millions per day to this strike than pay a fair wage.

The runaround right now is insane. I'm glad I was able to grab a seat for Tuesday, but I want a refund on this flight. The website tells me to call them directly, and the phone number tells me they can't take my call. :/

Too bad there couldn't be an online system set up for refunds. As a software engineer myself, that sounds like an easier option than dealing with hundreds of thousands of calls. And now they've suspended financial guidance 🤡 Corporations really will do anything before paying a fair wage

I did manage to get a refund! But the plane ticket I bought to replace it cost way more so I'm definitely out a few hundred dollars because of this. x.x
