Water pressure was always a concern at these depths, of course.

But surely not enough attention was paid to other forms of pressure.

The pressure of a bladed edge against thin rubber tubing, as an example. Or pressure applied in a particularly efficient way to the neck of an enemy diver.

Pressure could come from many sources, and be applied in many ways..._____
