The hangar sat quietly now, the soft sizzle of blasted flesh long since cooled into silence. Only the smoke curling from the still bodies spoke of the brutal ending that had found each of the brave rebels.

Deeper in the ship the battle still raged, but it was going poorly. The Imperials had bided their time and struck well, the blow no doubt fatal to the doomed crew of the besieged ship.

Another glorious victory for the empire... if only someone could save the Alliance!
