Unfortunately yesterday the stylus for my XP-Pen Artist 22Pro (first gen) tablet died. This generation of drawing tablet uses a rechargeable stylus and as far as I can figure out, it's no longer available new and I've been unable to source a second hand one. I've got one lead on a local company who might be able to repair the stylus, it all depends what's wrong with it. It's either the battery inside it, which is a proprietary thing, or a component on the little circuit board inside that deals with charging and voltage regulation.

So, as a result, after much frantic hunting for a solution to this problem, an immensely generous person stepped up and supplied a new XP-Pen Artist 22 which is the same size and functionality as my current tablet but the new version, meaning I don't need a rechargeable stylus. It also means I can buy a spare stylus while they're still available for minimal outlay and hopefully future proof myself a bit.

I do want to repair the stylus on my old drawing tablet since there's nothing wrong with it otherwise, seems incredibly wasteful to just dispose of it for want of what could be a simple repair.

I'm sharing this because while it's unlikely that the new tablet will cause me any issues, there's a chance it will and updates might be delayed. I have no other way of creating digital artwork in the meantime. I'm hoping the new tablet arrives in the next couple of days, it'll take as long as it does to get here.

I will still complete all the usual content, just be aware it might be a little bit later than usual because of this hiccup.
