Hey guys,

I've been moving super slow on this next chapter for a lot of reasons. Lots of stuff happening at the moment in the real world, but I also am trying to balance the next scene do reveal some information but not turn it into a boring info-dump.

To that end I have a question for you.

If Reece has the opportunity to ask the goddess 1 direct question about anything, what would it be?

I can think of a few things he might ask. though I'm not sure which he'd prioritize. I'm going to assume that information about the AI's stance on humanity and the nature of The Others is going to be covered, however briefly, and not use those as Reece's question. "What does it mean to be Kono Zemsu?" "Where and what is the hell plane we go while we're waiting for respawn/dead." And my favorite cheat question for every encounter with a greater authority: "What's the best, specific and non-vague advice you can give me that will aid me in achieving my goal?"

I also agree with asking about the hell plain. The way you described it in book two it sounds like the real earth and that citidel is actually still a game (kind of like the matrix where everyone lives in tubes)

Also nothing wrong with a chapter or two being a good info dump, especially with questions to be answered and give a good chance to see what our favorite characters are like (cough rem cough)

I think Matt Savage has it right that Reece would prioritize a question about how the goddess feels about humanity. If it that information is provided upfront and the goddess/builder is ambilivent to mankind, I can see him being interested asking if the goddess can make her shard environment survivable by the mundane human and if she'd allow for a human colony to immigrate slowly to the surface.
