WE HAVE AN EPISODE!!!!!!!!! Thank god. Unfortunately the restorer was only able to save half the file so it cut off about 5 minutes into the second episode but I'm so so glad he was able to save EP7 for the reveal. I'll be re-reacting to EP8 and then first-time watching EP9 next week. Thanks for your patience everyone <3

YAYYY FOR THE RECOVERY OF SUCH AN IMPORTANT EPISODE!!! i swear shin's cries when he's on the ground in the rain just completely gut me, you can really hear the pain and despair. nani needs all the awards (for every episode but especially this one)

The whole Injury scene makes me sick to my stomach actually. Betrayal count ONE: To leave the gang you have to be jumped by the entire gang, but for Shin, Saint is the only one who beats him up Betrayal count TWO: Shin has been shown to have been beaten up multiple times prior to the present days, but he clearly did not expect the beating to be so intense with the way he reacted with the first punch. Especially since his BEST FRIEND since ELEMENTARY SCHOOL who's protected him thus far, is doing it. Betrayal count THREE: The entire reason why Saint goes too far and beats Shin up so severely is because of his own insecurity and immaturity. When Saint asks Shin "Are you sure you want to do this?" he's in a clear headspace where he can do this objectively like he would any other gang member. However, the moment Shin replies, "Yes, I'm sure" because he wants to play soccer and have a future. Saint's eyes flare up with so much anger, because to him he heard, "I want to leave you behind". Betrayal count FOUR: Saint beats him to pulp (after protecting him his whole life), crushes his dreams (after supporting him so much), THEN he disappears from his life. The worst part is that is that Saint doesn't understand that Shin doesn't care that he broke his leg like he gets it wasn't intentional, but he DELIBERATELY LEFT HIM.
