Something about your talk at the end compelled me to rewatch the Bad Buddy ep 5 kiss for the first time in ages and...gah. Gets me every time. And that's in large part precisely because of how perfectly the show built up to that moment. So long story short, I totally agree with everything you said!

im such a sucker for hurt/comfort that even if the constant lying pisses me off, that last scene is SOOOOOO BUZZY!!!!! heavy on they should be MAKING OUT but i'll take the hug because it was so sweet and beautiful :') few bls (or just shows in general) have made me feel the way Not Me did, and that longing for something else like it truly never goes away

I'm back 15 years late 🙂‍↕️ but between this and Wu i'm endlessly impressed by Sky and Nani's acting individually, especially when portraying character's so opposite from their real lives (Nani especially. Sky recently joked about how he keeps getting cast in action roles despite being a regal first lady type. Which as you can imagine I Feel Very Normal about). I hope once this is done you can somehow deep dive in their dynamic irl (i'm always here as a resource if you need 🤫) because sometimes they feel more deranged than saintshin. Which is crazy.

ALSO. I have so much to say about the Wu/GagaOolala discourse you have no idea lol. My biggest issue was more so that they tagged Wu as a BL since it's not explicitly that, but I think it does a disservice to reduce it to a "straight" show when 1) you have a great canonically trans character played wonderfully by a Trans actress, 2) the show is very clearly pointing to sky/nani's characters being soulmates/interwoven to some extent, and 3) there is no hint of heterosexual romance anywhere even if the relationship between the two leads is completely platonic. Idk I understand people's criticisms but to call what Skynani do homophobic or queerbaiting to me is being a little blind to nuance (and just not consuming the material)
