gemfot are so perfect 😭 The way you can tell Barth is trying to figure out if Tanrak is gay or if he’s projecting (because he finds him cute) just from his eyes beneath his angst. While Tanrak is like “woahh I know we’re gay but why’s new guy trying to ruin my lifeee, why isn’t the usual suppression working” just from the way he’s pausing like he’s malfunctioning while portraying being suppressing the sadness of the circumstances of his life. ughh they’re just so layered and their expressions show all of ittt

No, you’re right about Thai people aging so well. I have someone who works at my university, and she’s Thai. This woman told me she’s 45, and I almost passed out. When I tell you, she didn’t look older than 25-26 max. She looked at me and said, “I guarantee my daughter is around your age.” And she was right, lmaoo

I don’t think i’ve ever seen someone portray attraction and yearning with misty eyes the way Fourth does. I’ve noticed I’ve noticed it ever since My School President, something about his eyes when he portrays not love, but that initial uncertain attraction is sooo crazy. (it’s not teary, but it’s like his eyes are more shiny, glistening.)

How is Fourth so good at acting 😭😭😭 like even in My School President which is obviously a pretty light and fluffy romcom you can tell he has some special it factor as an actor that really makes him stand out amongst his peers and even hold his own again veteran actors (specifically thinking about Moonlight Chicken here). And I'm soooo impressed with Gemini here too. In the special episode he talked about how he was able to separate Barth from himself and he really does seem like a different person, especially in the eyes. And ofc both of them together....lightning in a bottle. I understand why everyone wants them out of high school aged roles but truly they are my personal favourite pairing when it comes to portraying first love. They just Get It 😭 it's really no wonder P'Aof fell in love with them and has waited for years to work with them again.

Feel free to ask all the questions you have about the Catholic church during this show! Myself, and I'm sure plenty of others, will have the religious upbringing point of view to bring to the table. I highly suggest you also watch the special that was released before the first episode. It was a fascinating look behind the characters and crew. You're correct that becoming ordained in The Church starts as a call from God, and it's a similar form of respect as those ordained in Buddhism, so many families would feel blessed to have a child choosing to answer the call to priesthood, but I wouldn't say it is an expectation. Maybe in a select few unhealthily strict homes it could, but not on average because being a part of the congregation and community is enough. The Church understands that not everyone will be called to priesthood, but spreading God's word and love is just as important as forming new generations of priests, so helping young people grow with that religious knowledge is key to hoping that more will learn to live in Jesus' footsteps regardless of whether they become a priest or follow any other call to service. The process is long to ensure that each person reflects deeply on that decision, especially for such impressionable minds that are bound to put pressures on themselves from their own circumstances. We don't get much background on Tanrak this episode other than him losing his parents at a young age, so it's understandable why he's there and why he hesitates over every choice he makes. Like you said, I'm hoping he learns from Barth as much as Barth learns from him, especially in regards to their parents' love and learning how to find happiness and love for yourself in order to truly love others the way God intended (not the way religion and the world makes it seem). Looking forward to experiencing this with you! I'm always bad at keeping up with every reaction, but hopefully this will be fun for you and doesn't give you stress on YouTube. <3

Am I the only one who clocked that even though Barth asked Tanrak, “Do you believe in God?” Tanrak replied, “I believe God is real,” which didn’t actually answer the question.
