Three things lead me to believe that this story will unfold without major drama and instead reach a satisfying conclusion: - In this episode, both characters are surrounded by the color green—both inside the church and in Mother Nature—symbolizing hope, tranquility, and optimism. - Barth, in the role of Eve, will lead Tanrak out of his "paradise" without him suffering any significant harm. He will still be able to retain his faith and serve God even while living life outside the church and choosing his own path. - I do not think that Tanrak is the person beging ordained. If that were the case, it would have had to happen around 2006—twenty years earlier. That person could, for instance, be the child or adopted child of a former classmate.

This show man 😭 when you show up to the "portraying head over heels 1st love" competition and Geminifourth are already there.....their chemistry has always been so special but I'm blown away at how in sync they are here. They just feel so natural together. The more I watch this episode the more I love it. I think next episode will be Quite Painful but I'm cautiously optimistic that they'll stick the landing. If they do it will easily be my favourite drama from gmmtv (probably in Thai bl in general tbh). Thank you for your reactions Freddie and am looking forward to finishing the show with you!

Char

yes that is keen, I was so excited to see him cameo!!!

I agree, I have a feeling this will end up with them together. I have been trying to figure out who the person being ordained is in the beginning because as you said for it to be anyone of the boys in the story it would have happened prior to 2025. But it has to be someone important because Barth says it is someone special to him being ordained. Maybe Tanrak was already at the church because he is there to be a part of that person's procession? I'm just grabbing at straws because one of my ideas is also that Tanrak is the priest who is conducting the ordination😪. I just want to see a satisfying ending for all parties.

Love your reactions to this show. In watching your video another (maybe stupid on my part) theory occurred to me. What if the person being ordained in the beginning of the first episode is Cherry's son? That's maybe why he would be important to Barth to attend. And what if the reason it is happening in 2025 when gay marriage was legalized, which was specifically made note of in the first episodeis her son can marry Barth and Tanrak. I know, dumb, right? But a silly stray thought that occurred. I also am thinking, that i think some people are looking for a "villian" in the story like Cherry or Kong or the Father. But what if in the end they all just end up being different helpers in their own way for Tanrak and Barth to be together. Lastly, your insightful and intelligent commentary is so great to listen to. I am also enjoying your Duang with you reactions too. Have a great week

In my imagination, Barth and Tanrak stayed together for a while, helping each other grow up and find their way. After all, it was their first teenage romance, and for me it seems rather unrealistic to think they never had another partner after that. The person getting ordained could also be Barth’s younger brother who his mother had with a new partner after her release from prison. To me, it’s almost more important that Barth gets to spend some happy years with his mother. He and Tanrak remain very close friends; perhaps later on, it will become something more than that again. As I said: in my imagination... 🙃🫠 Omg, I'm constantly thinking about this show!

Can't believe we got Keen and Sea this episode!!! I bet Barth's mom only felt so strongly about not leaving her husband because he was also emotionally manipulating her using the church's views on marriage 😭. That was such a tough scene to watch! I wanna yell at Barth and Tanrak to RUN AWAY TOGETHER!!! The way they're both finding the family they lost with each other 😭😭😭 Unfortunately, I feel like this church is fine with guiding youth towards priesthood even more than in other regions because of how uncommon Catholocism is in Thailand. Otherwise, Tanrak would probably have been placed with a family or guided towards finding a fitting career for himself.

Unfortunately, gay marriage is not possible in the catholic church still. BUT gay couples are able to be blessed now! Baby steps..

and in episode two when barth didn't go into the dining area until after the prayer was done.... 😭
