The first time I watched this episode, I was just crying continuously in the beginning, with all the flashbacks of Nam Sangbae... He was such a sweetheart, and him having used police brutality on Dongsik (which had been implied in previous episodes, even though Dongsik also stated he had been "one of the better ones") was something he never forgave himself for and he continued to atone for it throughout his life by helping Dongsik in any way he could, basically becoming his second dad. Like, literally keeping him alive when Dongsik was having depressive, potentially suicidal symptoms after Sangyeop's death, and having the house he bought also put in Dongsik's name, making sure he had a place to go to if everything ever got to much. The boys are 100% in love. Period. It's beautiful how they're trusting each other now and are working together so beautifully. There is indeed still a lot of things to uncover and explore, so the amount of episodes left is very much needed ^^ Hold on tight for more flabberghasting!
