I had an unsettling nightmare about a woman being killed last night after watching your lives at that place. Must of been horrible actually being there.

I really hope it was some kind of really sick but consensual thing they pulled off there. Thinking it might not have been makes me choke and tear up. 😶

RieSLING (Roland)

One of your best videos this year! It‘s midnight over here, and I‘m totally freaked out now. 👀

RieSLING (Roland)

More urbex with Steph would be much enjoyed. He‘s amazing in these situations. 👍

Tyler Leigh

Dan this is freaking amazing. This may be the best video of the year so far!

Diane McRobert

A Halloween fun house. 👻 Great video. ☺

Tina

I looooved this!! Especially the second part of the video with it being stormy and raining outside, made it super creepy. Can’t wait to see more ❤️

Bob

I love the opening shots, you really know how to set the mood.

Tracy Zielinska

Fantastic work, this truly takes us back to your early work. Thank you so much Dan, and please stay safe! ❤️

I think Steph is correct about the top being a record store and the bottom was maybe a tire shop. part of the first floor looks like bay doors that were sometime converted to a wall. Plus it looked like there were long-ish rooms for pulling autos into. Cant imagine the mindset that designs stairs like that and thinks "yah those are ok". BTW about 12,000 people in the USA alone die each year from falling down stairs. Love the 4k Dan . I think the upper floors were more interesting than the sex room. Like what happened to that guy. What happens to all these people, how do people who dont have much to begin with leave everything/anything and just go ? I think you were probably being watched on one or all your visits. Someone and maybe the guy who was living upstairs probably saw and heard you at some point talk about the condoms and the chair and maybe just cleaned it up a little in hopes that if someone else came snooping around they would realize they weren't the only ones visiting that place and would feel unsafe and just leave. Curious about the boarding up though. Maybe the building owner is a patron ? wooooooo spooky. Thanks again for another creepy video.

Kevin Eleven

So maybe the guy living upstairs was/is into auto-asphyxiation and liked to jerk off into condoms while he sat in the chair and chocked himself with the cord ? So one night he watches you and or others come in and explore his house and he is not happy about it and maybe embarrassed and doesnt want to draw anymore attention to himself and so he cleans it up a bit and boards up the building and someone elses comes along and prys open the second door which you enter through later and find a cleaned up room.

Beautifully executed, setting the tone of the night’s finds with crisp photography and raw background noises. The muted visions from the rain on the windshield and swirling steam added to the cryptic sex chair story. You were able to document the layers of history of people that have lived/ worked in that building. Someone actually had put curved wooden molding on the crazy flight of stairs when it was first built. Thank you, Dan🩵🩵🩵

Woooooowwwww , definitely one of my top 5 places you explored I paused it at the point where the gentleman in the green shorts is walking down those stairs and it looks straight out of a creepy horror film ,Well done 👏👏👏💐💐, Okie back to watching 🙈🙊

Nicki nicks

Just truly a horrific place you documented, I had to pause throughout bc there is so much take in with each shot, Your eye for capturing a mood is unmatched with the rain , the smoke from the potholes and the thudding sound of the rain on your second visit gave it a different nightmare twist ,,, I know I probably sound like a ass kisser at this point , well let me pucker up bc u did that

JdoubleU

The second night with the rain made me shudder. The white thing in front of the chair was a perfect place to put a camera to videotape the chair. Ewwwwww

Catherine .𖥔 ݁ ˖

Real sketchy place. Can tell the building is historic from the flooring. Your beginning and ending shots are always so cinematic! Stunning and bewitching. I LOVE those old ads! Polaroids (in daylight I assume?) of those ads would probably be a really good profit. 😉

Daphne King

That is one of the weirdest and creepiest buildings I have ever seen. Just wow. Horrifying.

Gio Persico

That's weird. The only thing I'm wondering is if there was indeed struggle, the person could have screamed which would have been quite audible from the road. Unless they had something over their mouth but that would require escorting in/out of the building to a nearby vehicle.

Weird Polar Bear

That wall collage of magazine cutouts is so cool. Looks like 60's counterculture style. Cant tell if they've been up there all this time or were put there recently.

I agree. I think 100% someone was watching or lurking around and heard you guys walk into the sex room and figure it out. It’s not a coincidence it was “cleaned up” the next day. Out of ALLLL the trash needles and drugs. That was cleaned? No someone was watching y’all.

TheDeadSkeletonShow

I liked the wall collage and the wallpaper. I will forever have nightmares about the victims of SA in the chair. :( just sad with the foot marks. Ughhhhhhhhhh. :(

Lindsay Inglis

This video proves you are back and in fine form. The pacing and the music in the mid point with the rain was reminiscent of David Fincher for the tension. So good, Dan. Thank you!

David Page

So awesome to see you exploring with some of my fellow Adelaide people. Dan you definitely have to come visit! We have a barrel of acid just your size 😂😂😂

Bentstrider Nittoni

Such a fun night. Nothing like making my Saturday night trucking runs and listening in on your own drive. Like patrol cops driving two different beats😁😁
