Dillon and my parents and I just buried Crusty. He died purring and warm under a blanket. His kidney labs had doubled since the 16th. He was in complete kidney failure. Happened so fast. I’m relieved he’s not in pain anymore. the last three days have been an awful time for him. Thanks for your concern everyone. Love you all.

I'm so sorry Dan. Just know that you gave Crusty a good home and lots of love up until the very end. Did Mama get to see Crusty before he was buried? I've heard that pets will know a fellow pet has passed by seeing and sniffing the body. I know you said she seemed ok after Dice passed, but i'm sad for her as well. I know the pain of losing pets, they are our babies! Sending you and Mama love and hugs 💕

Oh, Dan… This is such sad news. What a loss. And losing 2 munchkins in less than a year’s time is especially devastating, I’m certain. I’ll miss Crusty’s funny little face in the occasional video. Please take comfort in the fact that you gave him a very loving home when he lost his mom. Crusty was warm, well-fed, and cherished during these last years. You gave him love and a family.

Tina

Rest In Peace Crusty Meow 🌈 Dan, on behalf of myself and my 2 cats Penny and Conan, we are all sending positive kitty vibes your way 💔

Verity Catherine

I'm so sorry Dan, I remember when you got Crusty. His meow and your meow reply to him always made me smile. I've been depressed today and this news has made me cry pretty hard. The pain of losing a pet never goes away, it hurts so much. I cry for weeks when they die. The cat in my profile picture died 16/10/2016, her name was Penny and I still miss her dearly even though I have other awesome cats now. I hope you will be ok.

Marie Adamson

I'm so sorry for your loss, Dan. I know you oved Crusty, as we all did, and it's so hard to say goodbye. Sending love and hugs to you xx

Dorian M

I’m so sorry for your loss. I loved his personality and hearing his contributions to your live streams and podcasts. Would love if you could post a picture of him so we can remember him as he was. He was loved by so many of us. May he rest in peace eternal.

Katie Kreller

I am so so sorry, Dan. Losing a furbaby is the equivalent, to me, of losing a human loved one. It always seems to happen so quickly with animals. I wish they could live longer, but I think they’re here only to teach us all the lessons they’ve already mastered. Crusty isn’t suffering anymore, but I know how badly it hurts when they leave us behind. I’m so sorry.

Joshua Crook

So sorry to hear Dan! RIP Crusty ❤️

Hillary DeVincenzo

So sorry Dan. You gave Crusty a great life. I lost one of my cats at 7 this year from kidney failure and I tried everything from subcutaneous fluids and prescription diets to hospitalization - nothing helped. We let her go peacefully in much the same way as Crusty, and there was no question it was the right choice. ❤️‍🩹 They break our hearts, but I wouldn't change having them for the world.

Christina Gantert

I’m so sorry Dan. It’s such a hard thing to go through. I loved hearing him and you meow back and forth to each other. He had the crustiest of meows, and he was so very loved.

Ivan Oxnard

Sorry for your loss Dan! Crusty may be gone but his soul is still around with you. 🐈

Sarah M.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend... He was lucky to have you.

Tracy Paden

I’m so so sorry for your loss. What a lucky cat to have had such a great dad.

Jennifer Nevin

So sorry. I know how hard it is loosing a pet. I'm sure he went knowing he was loved.

Nicky Ginn

So sorry for your loss Dan. We know how much it hurts 😥xxxxxx

Sebastien Bolduc

Sorry, I forgot the name of Rick’s sister. You did good taking in Crusty after her passing. You already saved him when you did that. You also gave him lots of love and cuddles. We know you would have moved mountains to save Crusty this time around, if it were possible. I also lost my best buddy, Rusty, during the Spring. There is only so much we can do to help them 😢 You had a lot of hardships the past year. Like the Beatles said, And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.” Take the love Crusty gave you and keep it alive within your heart. Pass it forward. ❤️

SeaweedWitch

I’m so sorry. :( Feline kidney failure is how I lost my best friend a year ago. It really does happen so fast… I’m sure crusty had a wonderful life with lots of love. Take care of yourself.

Sharon Becket

Oh Dan, I'm so sorry to hear that Crusty has passed. He was a beautiful fur baby but you have to remember he lived the best life any cat could have. I lost my two cats within 6 months of each other so I really know how you are hurting. Time doesn't heal it just helps you on your life journey. Loving hugs have been sent to you and mama.xx

EarlWax

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Crusty. I have been a lifelong cat lover/owner (also do cat rescue and work as a cat groomer) so I know the unfortunate pain of losing a kitty to kidney disease. Big hugs to you. 💖

Allen Taylor

You gave Crusty the best and longest life possible. I’m sending all the positive vibes your way.

Krys Lahr

I'm so sorry Dan.

kjacobs01
