Hi guys,I hope you're doing well. I have a bit of an... shit announcement to make. I won't sugarcoat it, I need to delay the update by a week. I didn't want to do this, I've been working non-stop on it, but I don't think I'll be able to finish everything by Friday. From my IRL job being extremely busy, to team members falling ill, to certain scenes requiring way more work and effort than previously anticipated...

It sucks and I know it does. I'm the only one to blame for this. I thought I could have everything finished and polished up by Friday... but I simply can't. I don't want to cut out content or add content in a small update for the next tier. I want everything to be ready for everyone at the same time, so that no matter what tier you are, you get EVERYTHING from the get-go.

I said after Chapter 4, I wouldn't make an update as big and yet... somehow... this one is even bigger. I'm talking 100+ more images than Chapter 4, which many of you said was already huge. I wanted to take all the feedback into account and provide more images and less text.

And honestly, I'm getting a tiny bit burnt out from working on this chapter non stop for 2+ months. I've taken a week off work so that after this release, I can just chill for a bit and recharge my batteries.

This update is by far the best piece of work we've created and it's stunning. It has an incredibly high standard and I'm very proud of it. I don't want that quality to falter at the last scene, which is a big NTS scene. A scene many of you are looking forward to/have been dreaming about.

I believe everyone knows how much effort you put into creating the game, and personally, I understand that sometimes what we think will take 5 minutes ends up taking 30. So don’t worry about that. In the end, what truly matters is delivering a quality product There’s no point in releasing a chapter early if it’s not finished And honestly, it’s way better to give people a heads-up a few days in advance than to leave it for the last minute!

Man, the internet porn game industry does not deserve you. Don't mean to glaze too much, but making this post and being so apologetic about just a one week delay, when the last update to SoA was already MASSIVE, and this one is apparently going to be even bigger, while most of the other developers on porn games are all too content to spontaneously cancel projects and/or lead patrons on for YEARS, taking thousands upon thousands of dollars for them while delivering ever-worsening content and dripfeeding dumb shit most people don't care about...is unexpectedly admirable. In any case, can't wait for the next update, and I hope this whole "didn't mean to make chapter 5 as big but it ended up even bigger" ambition does not end up careening into a complete burnout over future updates, because this game is an absolute gem. Take care of yourself and don't sweat it too much; you're already doing much more for fans of the game than most people are used to getting from devs.

Errrrrr... not really something I've looked into to be honest. I would have to delete certain play-on words of Luke's name in the script. If I do it, it'll be after Chapter 5.
