Hi guys,Just a short post to give you all an update. I've been working hard over Christmas to get everything I want to include for the update, finished. However I've ran into a couple of issues. These are pretty much unavoidable due to the time of the year and many people are spending time together with their loved ones.

I've not been getting my animations back in a timely fashion due to the Holiday period and at this point, I don't know when I'll get them back.

Proofreading has been slow due to members of the team prioritizing family over the game. (As they should.)

Testing has been slow for the same reason as above. On top of that, the person who makes the android ports for me, has been MIA. There's a lot of new UI stuff in the update, so I need to be able to test it before I release it. I might have to look into how to make an android port myself and find an emulator so that I can test the features for Android.

I'm not happy with how one of the NSFW scenes turned out, so I've been redoing it from scratch, which is taking up some extra time.

Basically, a lot of things that could go wrong during a dev cycle, went wrong. I have an important hospital visit on the 29th, which will leave me out for most of the day. I'm working very long hours at the moment, to pick up the slack, but there's only so much I can do in a day. I know I need to delay the update, but I don't know yet how long. As soon as I have more information, I'll post it here. Sorry for disappointing you all. This update so far has been my favorite with all of the things I was able to do and it looks sooooooo fucking good. But I don't want to rush it. It'll be worth the wait.Much love,-AbyssGames

Enjoy your Christmas bud, im sure everyone is happy to wait a bit and are likely preoccupied themselves anyway.

Finio Bastion

Let it cook as long as you need chief, and it makes total sense that folks are taking the holidays for themselves. You should include yourself in that too!

The Bingus Collective

Not a disappointment at all. Enjoy your birthday, check in on your health and recharge. We'll all be here when it's ready.

thatoneguy

Self, family, others that order. Your fine.

Delays happen in any kind of work, especially in creative projects - and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s clear how much time and effort you put into development, and the quality of the game really shows it. Don’t push yourself too hard - your health is always more important than any deadlines. Wishing you the best of luck with the development, and happy upcoming New Year!

No disappointments at all, take a break and enjoy your holiday and family!

Cardus

take your time and deliver what u want to deliver... yes im edging for the update BUT i prefer to wait a bit more and have the prime stuff u got us used to than getting something rushed! no worries 👌

JS

I will never forgive you (Quit giving updates and go enjoy the holiday season)

Okay, I accept the delay. If it includes the Alice and Milo photoshoot that was left pending, I wouldn't mind, since I'm frustrated about getting the chapter quickly. Besides, I wouldn't like it if you used an Android emulator; it's too complicated for me. I prefer APKs.

Dude, when games are this quality...delays are 100% unavoidable. The key is being honest and open with us, and you have. Personally I'll wait as long as it takes. I know I'm probably in the minority there, but people will ALWAYS come back for quality as long as there is transparency. Good luck on the 29th brother.

We will wait for a finished update as soon as you think it's worth it! Happy holidays and a happy New Year.

Thanks for taking the time to post and thanks for going through the issue with android. I don’t know who you use but if you search Cebs I know he ports android for other developers

RagnaRock

You do not disappoint, but on the contrary, you show that you have a serious approach to your work, so personally you make me happy.

Don't put too much pressure on yourself. It'll be ready when it's ready. And if you ever need any more proofreaders, I'm willing and happy to help. Enjoy the holidays.
