Dev Update - 03/25/2026 (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all doing well and having a great week so far. I'm currently wrapping up the final two scenes for this update. As mentioned in my previous post, there were originally two additional scenes planned, but I've decided to move those to the rework that will follow after Chapter 7 – Part II.These last two scenes are quite substantial, so it’s difficult to give an exact timeline. Most of the groundwork is already in place—outfits, themes, plot direction, music—so it’s now a matter of execution.

My goal is to get this update into your hands as soon as possible, with a target window of the first half of April. That said, the timing depends on several factors: my own production speed, the animator’s turnaround, and the proofreading process.

I know many of you are excited—and I am too. The addition of choices and the new systems should significantly enhance the overall experience. I’m really happy with how Shadows of Ambition is shaping up and how it’s being received.

One of the ongoing challenges in development is scope. Even when I have a clear outline, it’s hard to predict how large scenes will become during writing and rendering. I tend to expand on ideas, refine transitions, and occasionally add new content that wasn’t originally planned. For instance, this update was initially only going to include the NTS scene with Milo, but I ended up adding an extra scene during the buildup to the finale.Anyway, I hope you enjoy this small teaser featuring Sarah and Alice… I wonder what they’re talking about.Much love,-AbyssGames
