Hi everyone!

I wanted to get your opinion on something.

As many of you know, the rework has grown significantly in scope. Chapter 1 alone is currently shaping up to be roughly three times the size of the original version, with improved writing, new choices, reworked visuals, better pacing, new systems, achievements, collectibles, and a lot more polish across the board.

This brings me to a question:

Would you prefer that I release the reworked content as soon as it's ready, or would you rather wait longer and receive the reworked content together with brand-new story content?

🔹 Option 1: Release the rework as soon as it's finished.

🔹 Option 2: Wait longer and release the rework together with new content in a larger update.

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Feel free to vote in the poll and leave a comment explaining your choice!

Thanks for all the support ❤️

Not sure other people’s reasoning but I think releasing the reworked content as soon as it’s ready would mitigate some people complaining about not getting content fast enough. It gives us new stuff to check out, while reminding us of the storyline and gets us even more excited for new content after the rework! As soon as it’s ready seems like the best option and if people want to wait they can wait to play later

Arkay

I'm going to wait until all of it is finished

Release the rework first. Then you're not needing to make up more ground?

For me, I'd rather play with new content. If it's just a remaster of old content, it might not be as exciting. So, let's release it only when everything is ready!

MulleDullen

Wait, why do the majority not want the reworked first? Is it because the new content will have to wait longer then somehow?

Newbe163

Personally, I will not go back and restart the story again. At least not from the beginning. Maybe some favorite scenes like the shopping visit or the beach with all the girls. So new content and within the rework is my favorite approach

AbyssGames

I would recommend you do, otherwise future scenes might not work properly...

Option 3. New content

MegazordDoForro

at this point I've already played the game about 7 times, if I were to play it again I'd prefer if it had new content ++love your work my friend

The main thing is that the plot doesn't stall due to constant rewrites of previous chapters. I understand that the release of a new one will take longer.

Deckard17

Well no one ask me for the rework... so if someone ask me now I would say new content.

One element worth considering is how time spent editing the reworked content "feels" to you. If that work is a nice break or opportunity to reorganize plans and gain inspiration (how some creators use alternate projects or hobbies), then it might be worth stretching the rework timeline out to keep those breaks while writing new scenes. If the rework feels more distracting or like something you just need to get through without having fun/inspiring moments, I'd say focus on only the rework to check the box and move on as soon as possible.

No rework. Keep going
