Anniversary (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

It’s already been seven years now since I started making reference photos. A lot has happened since then, including life-changing events, good and bad. Losing my wife three years ago was a heartbreaking experience, and I will always be grateful for the support that I received during that time.

This year I lost two of my cats, one just a month ago. Your patience and kindness made it a lot easier.

But even if a lot of things changed, my love for photography stayed the same. Learning and growing as a creator is always fun, especially because it’s for the sake of other artists around the world. Reading kind messages and seeing your art that was created with the help of my references fills me with joy every day.

I don’t think I will ever be able to put into words how much it means to me that you are willing to support me, some of you for several years at this point.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

One of my goals for the next few months includes an overhaul of my Patreon page. I will share more about that in a different post.

Patreon keeps changing and adding features, and I was not really able to keep up with all of that. A clean-up is definitely in order at this point.

I also want to adjust the rewards, to make sure that you all get what you actually want. I will pester you with questions for a while because of that.

For now, I’ll leave you with the obligatory remake of my first reference photo. To be honest, at this point I’m running out of ideas on how to “improve” this pose. I feel like I reached the limit last year, haha.
