Lagertha & Ecbert already did to Ivar excatly what Ragnar said everyone would do to him. When Ragnar told Ivar, "Everyone will always underestimate you.... you must make them pay for it."

Ragnar is said to be the descendant of Odin. However, and this is where it gets kind of weird. Ecbert and Alfred (From TLK) are said to also be descended from the "same" God. This is because before converting to Christianity, the English (Saxons) worshipped their own versions of Odin, Thor etc. This is because the Saxons were also a Germanic group. Most, if not all the Germanic tribes would have worshipped the same Gods, however the Vikings version had the most differences (probably because they were more isolated than the rest), so it is seen as its own "faith" but still related (Think kind of like how Christianity came from Judaism) The English versions of the Norse Gods are Woden or Wodan (Odin), Thunor (Thor), Tiw (Tyr), Frige/Frig etc. This is also where Tuesday (Tiw's Day) Wednesday (Wodan's Day) Thursday (Thor's day) and Friday (Frig's day) comes from.
