I personally liked this movie. Sure it’s inferior to the original but I think it’s a decent follow up.

How many Disney movies was this ripping off anyway? They had a Lion King moment with the love song, the same singing leads as Hercules... Anything else?

I guess Disney thought they wouldn't look cute enough if they were older... Always felt like Buster acted like some jealous ex. Fun fact: in the old Scamp comics made after the first movie, one of the pups looking like Lady was actually a male.

They thought they could cash in on the “L&tT” sequel comics; but once the Disney sequel era hit, it was many years too late. (Also, the comics have this cute, childhood charm that this movie is clearly lacking—it’s still better than a lot of the Disney sequels.)

To be fair: there was a comic series that follows Scamp's adventures WAY back in the era of "Golden Key" or "Dell" comics... though I highly doubt that even the makers of this movie knew about it either...

We really needed another movie to pound into us that Tramp is a super Horn dog Adonis that puts bitches in heat from the mere mention of his name? Disney: "YES..."
