Marian / Riptide did some blows to pop, sits to pop, pin to pop and Heel to pop with 12 balloons! She even popped two beachballs!

Hmm, the beachball pops seemed a bit off this time. Especially, cutting away from the large one deflating.

Thanks for the feedback, can you elaborate more on what you feel is off? And which beachball? Both?

I think it's because it looks like they're not completely deflating and just stop loosing air at some point. I know you can't depict a crumpled state to show a partial deflation but because the shape stays very constant it just looks strange. Also, it's a bit of a shame that there's a cut just when the big one starts deflating under her. I think if you could depict squish a bit more in general that would make the interaction with balloons and inflatables look nicer.

Okay so it’s because it looks flat and like it has no irregular deformations right? If that’s that, it’s because I can’t really make shadows the way I want so we can’t see the deformations, and therefore I just went with a flat deflation. But thanks for all these details!

I think what's mostly the problem is, that the balloons and inflatables look rather stiff. It's like there's no softness to them at all. Probably not easily done within the limits of the programm but I still wanted to mention it.

I’ve made a video before with a whale but that was a commission and I will probably never release it for everyone, but yes, I have a model of a whale and I may use it in the future.

I thought it was an amazing beach ball deflation. Id mainly focus more on the sound and creaking of the vinyl and her looking at the camera with a smirk or something like that if you can't animate the wrinkles on the ball. ( i love love the work tho, I bought a subscription just for the beachballs even though you mainly do balloons!)

You can be certain that I will do more beachball content yeah, even if I'm mainly focused on balloons since that's what I prefer. I still enjoy beachball sometimes so you can expect to see more of them in the future!
