Super-Nova vs Black-Hole commission (Patreon)
Content
Black-Hole HATES her daughter with a burning passion and never wanted her. She abandoned her baby in a nameless desert without a name.
Her old sidekick, Angel, found that baby, understood who she was, and took her as his daughter, naming her Eileen. He taught her true justice and hoped she would become the hero he thought her mother was.
That baby grew into THE Super-Nova, who uses her power to protect her world and does what she can to brighten people's day.
Black-Hole heard of this and it turned her stomach, so she wants to get rid of Eileen for good and, scarily, she has the power to do so.
Weaker than her own mother, Eileen's resiliency is her one strength over her mom and she somehow always manages to drive her back. This pisses Black-Hole off and makes her only want the destruction of her daughter that much more.
For this reason, Eileen has a seething hatred for her. Black-Hole doesn't want Eileen as a daughter and Eileen doesn't want Black-Hole as a mother. The only person who could even get the both of them to see a semblance of reason is trapped in the core of the planet, keeping it stable.
I did plan on having this fight be in the 10 year anniversary chapter, but ultimately decided not to.
It would've been fitting since I started the original Super-Nova's heel turn in 2016, only 2 years after the initial launch of the webcomic because I was aroused by a bad end, but the thing about this character for me is she has no end, even after the fall.
Eileen was the result of that bad end, so was it really bad in the end?
