I've drawn Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman and other DC characters in the styles of other artists, but I noticed I never actually did my own personal take on them. Everything I'd ever done was just taking their iconic looks and doing them in my style. Granted, these still are the iconic designs, but I wanted to just draw how I'd tackle these characters if I were to ever one day be granted the opportunity to make an official comic starring them where I had full creative control.

I really adore Bruce Timm's take on the DCU, so you can definitely catch a lot of that influence, but I also really dig Tim Sale's take on Superman where he's more burly strongman than he is a shredded meat factory. Batman here is most inspired by the blue and gray look he had in the 70s, the Adam West show, Superfriends (my introduction to DCU), and the Justice League Task Force video game on Sega Genesis. Wonder Woman is my favorite hero of all time and I dig all her various looks, so this was a challenge, but after rereading the first ever issue of WW and learning that her skirt was actually very baggy shorts, I wanted to see how she looked in tights vs the trunks which I also adore. The hairstyle is clearly inspired by her first appearance as is her tiara, but I added a more modern look to her including the electric blue eyes, the sphere earrings, and a more classic looking WW crest.

I love these characters so much and I think they look cool in my takes. Idk if I'll do this for the entire DCU, but go ahead and let me know if you'd like to see me tackle the entire JLA or even those close to them in their personal lives. Maybe even their rogues?

I should stop yapping. Sound off in the comments what y'all think of these takes and whether or not you'd be interested in seeing more be added to this lineup.
