Moi, moi, motherfucker!

I imagine that's how Finnish action heroes introduce themselves. I also imagine all Finnish movies end with a sauna scene, sort of the Finnish version of and they lived happily ever after. Although, I did watch The Moomins as a kid, and they did not end with sauna scenes. Then again, Tove Jansson was a Finland-Swede, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Caught a cold, been feverish over the week, night sweats, lack of sleep, and so on. Still coughing like a long-time smoker, those real deep, slimy coughs. But the fever seems to have passed and I actually got some stuff done today, which felt nice.

Starting to get a bit annoyed, I used to only get sick once a year. Exactly once per year for, I think, over a decade. Should I be concerned instead of annoyed? Eh, probably not.

Probably caught it during the concert, come to think of it. Still worth it, as long as it doesn't get worse. The question then is, why does my old man have a better immune system? Unfair! Super unfair!

Luckily, I still have some renders to share since the cold only hit me... Tuesday? I can't even remember. Either way, I think they've been coming out really well. Am I still improving? I sure hope so, I hate stagnation, I want feel like I'm moving forward at all times. No stopping the skillbus!

Speaking of skills, was actually considering buying a small, cheap, beginner drawing tablet, mostly just to doodle for fun. As usual with such purchases, I put a link in my bookmarks to look at it later, to see if I still feel like it's worthwhile. Don't want to impulse-buy stuff that I'll never use.

And I mean, getting to the point where I'd feel comfortable drawing for a game would take literal years. So yeah, would basically just be a fun hobby. I've always enjoyed doodling, but it's too annoying to keep pens and papers around to doodle on, and using a mouse sucks. I do think 150ish buckaroonies seems like a fair price to avoid such nuisances.

Jarlina's combat fit turned a bit more Dark Lord-like than intended, but I quite like it. Looked quite normal until I added the metal mask, it adds aura, as the kids say. Zug-zug already has aura with the constant hiding of his eyes behind the brim of his hat. Does he do it just so he can surreptitiously look at butts? Maybe so. Did I spell surreptitiously correctly on the first go? Let's not talk about it.

Why did that word even pop into my head before a word like sneakily, or stealthily? Well, it's the curse of learning most of my English through reading. It's fine in text, but people look at you weird when you pull out words like that in real life, they always think it's for showing off. It's not! In fact, I often intentionally dumb down my speech just so that people stop looking at me funny, but once I get invested in a conversation I forget to do it.

It's a curse! Especially when the word that pops up is something that I've never heard anyone say, so I say it out loud and realize that I'm suddenly very uncertain about the pronunciation. Pretty sure most readers have had that happen to them, to be fair.

I hope to get all of scene four made next week, but I think that might be a challenge. Would've probably been able to if I'd gotten more done this week, but I decided not to push myself. Which was probably unusually wise of me. Don't think I would've gotten anything of note done anyway, just made myself feel worse.

Oh, the ferret in the title? Just look up what a ferret is called in Swedish, and then you may proceed to groan.

... Done?

Yeah, a very dumb bilingual pun. Is it even a pun? If anyone laughed at it, it's definitely not, but I somehow doubt it'll be disqualified that way.

Anyway, that's about all from me, think I'm going to try and get some more sleep ASAP.

Thank you very much for your support, and I wish you an ill-free week!

Thanks for your work and post, I'm glad you have been resting and I hope you continue to give yourself the space to get better! I love the demon general look!

Sir Gary Bummer

Resting hard, or hardly resting? Finally got several hours of sleep in a row, so I suppose I am resting hard. Cheers!
