Incidental to this point, but down here in Chile there's been a preponderance of advertising on behalf of the upcoming national telethon from the 6th through the 8th, with not only fliers + TV adverts blanketing everywhere, but even telethon related branding on consumer goods like bottled water and milk cartons. Given the setup and the emotional pleas utilizing disabled persons I see on the marketing material; it reminded me of your special documentary last year on the ITV telethon and its controversies, though I have a suspicion that it was never *as much* of a big deal in Britain as it is down here.
