Actually uploaded yesterday (today) because I had no idea how I'd be feeling by today (tomorrow). Although at a guess I'd say lethargic, headachey, sore of throat, far too hot and just kind of washed-out and zombie-like. I WONDER IF I'M RIGHT CAN'T WAIT TO FIND OUT

Presenterbot's voice now sounds like Geoffrey Palmer with all the roughness sanded off. I like it. And the video. 👍 That Hancock impression: it sounded a bit like Trevor Bannister (Mr Lucas in Are You Being Stereotyped). It was certainly Jarvis doing the closing line. Not that anyone cares, but it gives me a feeling of intelligence for a few seconds.

"roll on the mum" is one of the worst marketing slogans I've ever heard on a related note considering the new presenterbot voice, I was playing X4 (basically Elite but German and with a dynamic market simulation bolted onto it) and there are a whole bunch of story quests that have obviously been voiced by ai, to the point where it was distracting. To be somewhat fair, the game is not a big budget production, they disclosed the fact they use ai gen and say that they are licencing the voices they use, and handling spoken dialog for a giant free market space opera with ai seems more creativly defensivable than most big profile attempts to ride that bandwagon, but it sounded weird and that's the only point I can make here.
