An off-topic question, but do you know if Wendy's did any television ads in Britain when they made their first brief U.K. foray in the early '80s?

In Ireland (at least in most of Dublin), we got Sky and Super Channels on cable in 1987, at a time when these channels were pan-European concerns. When I first saw ads for 'Snickers' on these stations, I laughed my head off. The smile would be wiped off my face a couple of years later. And it is indeed a stupid name. Twix, on the other hand, never succumbed to being re-named 'Raider', as our continental cousins would have known the chocolate caramel finger treats.

In regard to the two last World Cups, thank God Russia went first in 2018 instead of Qatar, a lot of football fanatics I know have been pretty meh about this one.
