I never knew all that, but it was well researched and the bit on how all these different companies from different backgrounds came together to form what became the BBC, and how there could have been 2 BBC's, was interesting. A bit like how BSB came together, only 64 years earlier. Well done Matthew. P.S. Where did you get all your info from? I'm guessing it's a bit more than Wikipedia.

Mostly I followed my strategy from OU times of starting off at Wikipedia and then looking at the sources it cited, and digging down from there. And there's also Transdiffusion, the BBC's own account of its history and, for this one, the old BBC Yearbooks from the thirties.
