Border got full adverts on Channel 4 by the early 90's, but there was a lot of Scotland themed adverts, so I'm guessing they possibly came to a deal with Scottish about sharing local adverts. Earlier in the 80's, there were non at all, I remember my Dad's old VHS tapes featuring early C4 recordings like the Dave Clark re-edits of Ready Steady Go and a screening of Monterey Pop (1967) had the "Follows Shortly" slides. P.S. I'll be commenting on here and Twitter from now on, YouTube have suspended my account for "spam, scams and commercially deceptive content." Absolute bollocks, YouTube are cunts.
