Only a little bit late after all. Perhaps not the best advert for the show - pretentious sociological analysis of toy commercials by a man effectively dressed as a teddybear - but fortunately I don't need to sell it.

About the second Barbie advert: I noticed that there appears to be a cover version of "Georgy Girl" by The Seekers going on underneath the sarcastic chatter, played on synths that make it sound like the Masters Of The Universe theme - appropriate, given the manufacturer. (Also at about 5:25 there's an editing glitch where the word "little" gets cut off by the next bit.)

...and right after I post that comment, I notice how the Sindy jingle also sounds vaguely like the Masters Of The Universe theme! (The sound for that bit's only coming out through one channel btw.)
