Quite happy with this one, although it inevitably looks a bit crap sometimes.

I'm getting worried about Moviestorm, actually. It's increasingly limited, but clearly hasn't been actively maintained for at least five or six years. Shortfuze (the developers) themselves seem to have vanished off the face of the earth, and most of the third-party modders and, more importantly, their works, have also disappeared. It's getting to the point where before long I might find myself using the 3D Animating equivalent of Wordstar (which I actually also use).

The trouble is that nothing is as pick-up-and-go user friendly as Moviestorm. I've had a play with iClone and Daz Studio and the like and I might be able to get on with them eventually, but they take a definite while to learn, and I can already tell from they way they work that  even once I'm proficient, everything will take a lot longer just because it's a more complicated methodology. Muvizu seems interesting, but if want anything particularly useful, or just some character models other than those horrible bean-headed cartoony things that are the default, or simply not to have a watermark, I have to spend seventy quid, which I don't have to spare at the moment. Oh, and it doesn't run on Wine.

Maybe I should track down whoever Shortfuze are and give them a slap. Moviestorm 2.0 is long overdue.

It's a shame that you don't make enough on the patreon to outsource the animation.

I will add though, I like the effect you got with the fuzzy live action background and your animated self. Has legs as an idea.

I thought the cows-in-a-field background worked really well, from an aesthetic point of view. Perhaps that's the way forward for future videos, i.e. having 'you' doing the links in front of a washed-out version of the advert we just watched. It would certainly require a bit less effort than constructing new scenery backdrops for each episode...? Anyway, apart from that, just wanted to say thanks for including the Kenneth Williams ad for St Ivel Gold, which I'd not seen before. Always nice to be reminded that you've not seen every old TV ad on YouTube, despite a compulsive interest in the subject matter.

Good episode, while Moviestorm is limited, you do look very rigid, it would look better if you moved about a bit. Have you ever considered getting a greenscreen and doing it to camera with the relevant backdrop behind you?
