Remember how I mentioned that Moviestorm was getting a bit long in the tooth and a new generation version was well overdue? Welp.

We'll have to see if it works under Wine, of course.

Wine is the magic doorway that runs Windows programs under Linux. Moviestorm runs under Wine. The closed beta for this wants a Vive VR setup, so bollocks.

Yeah, I was excited too until I noticed the VR requirement. Bloody VR. This is a shot in the dark, but have you considered switching over to Blender 2.8? I did notice there was an export function in Moviestorm to aid with modelling, albeit with earlier versions. There is of course also a fair old difficulty curve with Blender. Alternatively - and this might be seen as a step down, but I thought I might as well suggest it - you could create a basic "virtual set" with a TV prop in it, render it out as a single image, and then superimpose a waveform animation generated from and synced up to your voiceover. You can make waveform animations easily in Hitfilm Pro, but as you're on Linux I don't know about the possiblities there.

We need a Hard Sell on Wine and other spirits. I will pay you extra if you do it blind drunk as well on said wine and spirits!! :D But, I'm dubious of this new software, just stick to what you know.
