I completely agree with you about Australian soaps. As for The Beatles, the films are owned by Apple Corps, the songs are co-owned by Universal Music and Apple, while the publishing rights to the songs are still tied up with Jacko's Estate, but all that is about to change...

My take away from the Black & Decker ad was not so much "IT'S CORDLESS", but that a single man had apparently managed to fix an actual dam with one of their drills alone. Which isn't what happens, but that pull back at the end gave me the impression. "Black & Decker - one of our drills can carry out major structural repairs in vital civil engineering work!"

Also it's nice to see one of my old uploads being used again. The funny thing is that I really have no idea why the football was recorded on any of my tapes, because neither me or my dad cared about sport. Someone must have just let the tape run after something else, presumably McCloud in this instance. I recall the two of us watching the 1986 World Cup final, but more out of curiosity than actual interest.
