A new one of those. Contains strong fucking language.
After a week's delay due to vibrating brain ghosts, Theory Of Obscurity returns for a third episode. We get off to a bit of a difficult start as we try to find something interesting to say about the self-titled 1976 album by The Spiders From Mars. Yes, THOSE Spiders From Mars, only Bowie obviously left a couple of years ago, and now so has Mick Ronson, leaving the rhythm section to attempt a doomed and often desultory comeback. Meanwhile a few years into the future, Kenny Everett basically saves this episode by publishing two tie-in annuals for his TV show over the Seventies / Eighties crossover period; it should be noted that perhaps both need to be read while "Fredericus Rex Favorite" by Sam Spence pootles away in the background. With acknowledgements to "studebaker" on Soundcloud for some bonus audio material (which contains strong language and adult themes)...
