Yes, it's one of these, remember them?

So a couple of things: first, Moviestorm absolutely killed me trying to make this. For reasons that are completely beyond me - skip over any technical language you don't understand -- it suddenly decided it didn't like my Wineprefix anymore, and when I did manage to get it running on an old, compromised VM the lipsync just refused to work, which is why I'm wearing a mask. By now (ie after the damn video was finished) I think I've got it straightened out again, but I'm really getting fed up with this thing. One of the many problems was that reinstalling it failed due to its inability to connect with the old Moviestorm server from years back that they've clearly moved from. I have to log in to my Moviestorm account, you see, or it won't load up at all. That account is fine in itself, but the program's looking for it at a url that no longer exists because it's been that long since the program was looked at. It's withering off the vine, basically, and I really need some alternative. That's not Muvizu (I'm not interested in that Playmobil visual style). Does anyone know how iClone can be bribed or threatened into working through Wine?

Second, the really early episode about Teeth was quietly taken down by Vimeo for some copyright applesauce. And unfortunately I don't seem to have a copy on my hard drive. So, please can someone tell me they downloaded it for some reason? Because otherwise I have a feeling it's gone.

At least if it’s gone for good, maybe you could do a sequel episode for the concept ostensibly taking its place.

Bob the Fish Productions

I'll have to do that. Or I do actually have a lot of the parts, maybe I could just remake it. Really prefer not to though.

Fair enough. It was probably the Breaking Bad clip you used that got it struck down.

I don't ever remember seeing it on there (I started following somewhere around episode 110 - and contributing just in time for the MLN tribute) so it must have been taken down quite some time ago

Matthew - I do have a copy of that episode, albeit one that’s been data-compressed to within an inch of its life. I’m afraid that the quality compromises inherent in the compressed file, while not noticeable when viewed on my iPod Classic, are uncomfortably apparent when projected to my TV via Apple TV. Would you like to have me send it you electronically? (Sorry to hear about your battle of wills with Moveiestorm, BTW.)

Bob the Fish Productions

iPod styles? Okay, send it over. I do have some of the bits so I might be able to reconstruct it. applemask83@gmail.com

Paul

I’ve sent you the relevant file via WeTransfer.com as it’s too large to attach to an email. The very best of luck with what’s left to be done!

Gryph Lane

Maybe it's time to bring out Presenterbot for a run of shows?

Patrick Stratford

Would you be able to send me a copy as well? I don’t mind watching it in a different format. Thanks

Paul

Certainly. I will require your email address to which to send you my copy via WeTransfer; maybe you’d like to send me an email to pjbabmail@gmail.com (and then again maybe you wouldn’t, but you’re more than welcome to do so if you wish) without declaring your email address publicly here.
