Great video. Every year I spend living in New Zealand, the more I appreciate the distance between me and the formulaic vulgarity of modern British Christmas TV adverts. God, they're awful. "Let's make Christmas amazing" or words to that effect. F**K YOU, retailers. Drop your prices by 70% and we'll see how amazing it gets. And I'm sorry, Matthew, but you and I are seriously going to fall out. Peter Drury the best football commentator?!? HOLY SHIT. If I wanted someone to constantly read statistics from a list for an hour and a half with only an occasional pause to shout like a deranged town crier on a killing spree, I'll ask for one. WORST. COMMENTATOR. EVER. Merry Christmas.

Shame that Fox Sports Christmas World Cup ad campaign didn't get featured, but then again, it's only really worth a chuckle at it banking on the US winning it all instead of being one of the first eliminated after groups like they always do. (Indeed they keeled over and died at the hands of the Dutch immediately)

Peter Drury is easy the best modern football commentator that gets regular tv work. I did always like Brian Moore tho.

Byron Law

Barry Davies tho that 1977 European cup final what classic calls they are. Anyway Merry Christmas everyone.

Terrific video, Matthew! (Good Lord, has it really been 12 months since the 2021 Hard Sell Christmas video? This time compression business is getting terrifyingly worse!) A Christmas season without an annual Hard Sell and Christmas Wrappings video is surely a Christmas season compromised.
