Well, I had to do something to acknowledge the anniversary, especially as Ed Batey insisted. I wish I could say it was unbelievable that it's been thirty years, but sadly that's exactly how it feels. Plus there's more to come: there's a similarly themed WRFC coming probably later today, or maybe tomorrow, and more excitingly that ending bit kind of got away with me at the scripting stage and has spun off into a Patreon-exclusive mini-documentary for you all at some point next week. Which should make up for the lack of a WRFC in November.

That was fantastic Matthew im still peeved about the end of THAMES,TVS and TSW although my mom always had TV-am on i was a little less sad about that ending. God bless Richard Dunn who passed not long after. Prob saw full strech from meridian shook his head and died. But your right had Crapton,Meridull and West cunty made anything of quality then nobody would care but they did'nt and we still hate them for it

I'm still mourning the conversion of all the regionals into one homogenous faceless blob... :/

Great stuff, Matthew. My god... that Turkey advert went on quite a long time, didn't it? Also, I liked the way the Bob the Fish logo formed up at the end. Looks great, does that.

I've maintained for ages, even if Thames or TVS or whatever had retained their franchises, nothing would have changed, Carlton would have got them anyways, or even Granada. So the landscape of ITV in that alternative universe would be similar to this one, only it might have taken a little bit more longer to have taken shape.

Like Carlton. First London, then slowly spreads into the Central (Television) region and sporadically into the Westcounty like a cancer.
