I began to dream about the ITV Telethon in the later stages of making this.

The next thing I promised to tackle was Schools Programmes. I might do a teensy Hard Sell in between, possibly with the Presenterbot, to give myself breathing space.

Is the Schools Program episode going to be just one installment, or split over a series?

Fantastic this. I remember as a kid seeing it as a poor version of Comic Relief. I was an odd kid tho I had the hitman and her taped for me every week so remember they did one as part of one of them.

Wonderful stuff - well done, Matthew. You've made me realise how little I knew about the ITV Telethon. Despite spending the first 40 years of my life in the Thames TV area, I didn't realise they'd done their own in 1980 and 1985. I don't remember the blue ears, the protestors or anything much, except the blue gonk. Thanks for filling in the gaps. The only thing that could have possibly topped the video was to play out with the singalong version of 'Tomorrow is a Lovely Day', as seen at the end of the 1988 ITV Telethon - if only for irony purposes. But aside from that, one of your best videos, I'd say.
