I swear the creepy British pork man is the actor Kevin Eldon even though he would have been 10 or something when it aired

Andrew Coldrick

If you don't mind taking more requests from now on, I had been curious to see a Not Brand X episode on the Red Mountain instant coffee brand, one of the major advertising campaigns by the avant-garde HHCL still not covered on the program so far. I think it would make for a particularly entertaining episode if you ever feel inclined to make one.

Bob the Fish Productions

I'd like to tackle that one day but I can't find much information about that campaign, or the adverts themselves outside of the History of Advertising Trust and their watermark.

Andrew Coldrick

Oh okay, didn't realize the ads weren't that accessible.

Stuart Kenny

I've given you so many requests I've lost count, so I won't repeat myself. Hope you're feeling better, and did you get something nice in the post for Christmas? 😉

Bob the Fish Productions

You probably should, because I've almost certainly forgotten them all. Oh, and yes, thank you.

Stuart Kenny

There was one about newspapers (which might end up being a few because there's loads of newspaper adverts), a Pavlov's Bell on Supermarionation, a Not Brand X on the United Colours of Benneton. Oh, and Have A Breaks based from the Avengers and breaks I sent you ages ago, just to see you as John Steed. 😉 Oh, and Bakshi Lord of the Rings and any random Tyne Tees break, (just to see you in a Newcastle strip and talk Geordie.)

Andrew Coldrick

I'd concur with Stuart, we still haven't had a Tyne Tees adbreak regionally speaking.

A most enjoyable episode, as ever! As for requests, the following Channel 4 continuity and advert upload sticks in the mind for reasons that I imagine will be fairly obvious to all who've seen it (I really did have to do a double and then triple take when that Freddie Barrett advert appeared!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1-B7XpgUSU I would well understand if you decided not to devote an entire episode to it, however (for reasons that will of course be clear to those who’ve already watched your “Channel Four Begins” episode)… As for more (hopefully!) useful suggestions, A Not Brand X episode on either Commodore or Pepsi would be one I’d love to see one day...
