This ep is a build up to the most fight scenes packed episodes in S1!

A part of the reason why I think Gege (the author) tends to follow the structure of an arc’s climax to starting a new arc with more comedy/build-up is because it gives audience a break from the climax, and it makes the next climax that much more intriguing/serious. It also makes you take certain information for granted during these comedic parts, so that he can bring it back in the climax to make that information relevant (since information is being thrown in pieces throughout build-ups and climaxes).
